About Me

I was and still am a big sports player. I've always loved anything and everything active. I learned how to swim while I was learning how to walk and I have been swimming ever since. I completely fell in love with anything that had to do with the water, whether it was surfing or learning about marine life creatures.

I went to Drexel University, originally for photography because I wanted to pursue marine and wild life photography. Later I switched to communication and am about to graduate with a concentration in public relations, and a minor in photography.

I was always someone who enjoyed doing a lot of different things, and couldn't stick to one thing. You could say I have a commitment issue.

I also have a strong dislike for the new slang...words such as "like", "lit", or "dope" really bother me. And because of this strong annoyance I wondered if people say these words in the workplace as often as they say them in public?

This led to my blog idea. I want to explore what young professionalism really consists of. Because I had five co-ops at Drexel, I have a lot of experience with this subject. Some co-ops really tested my professionalism but in the end I maintained my composure. My goal with this blog is to educate anyone who is looking to improve their professionalism skills, and shed some light on the experiences I've had, to maybe connect with someone out there who might have had some similar experiences.
